Matt is a 2013 graduate of Division I Oral Roberts University, serving as the team captain as a senior when he helped take the Golden Eagles to a Summit League title and a berth in the NCAA Div I Tournament. As a junior player prior to college, Tansil was ranked among the top 10 in the USTA Midwest Section and among the top 15 nationally. He earned the USTA’s Midwest Section Sportsman of the Year award in 2007 and was a two-time All-State and four-time All-Conference and All-Area selection in Michigan. Matt also served as the personal hitting partner for Donald Young, who rose as high as #38 in the ATP World Rankings during his career.
