Welcome. Wellesley Country Club is a family-oriented club whose members enjoy a wide variety of recreational and social opportunities. Founded in 1910, our club combines the best of both one hundred years of tradition and modern country club life.
At the heart of WCC is its championship golf course, which hosted the 2016 U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Championship. WCC previously hosted the Massachusetts Open in 2010 and other state-level tournaments over the years. From the championship tees, the course offers an exceptionally challenging layout at 6,903 yards. Golfers of all levels can find the course that's right for them from four other sets of tees played by the men, women and families. In addition to the golf course, the club has a practice tee, two putting greens, a short game practice area and an indoor practice facility.
With a history of design by Donald Ross, Wayne Stiles and Geoffrey Cornish, the club is fortunate to have one of only two courses that has felt the touch of this trio of New England's most prolific and distinguished golf course architects. More recent modifications, by Mark Mungeam, upgraded the layout for the 2010 Massachusetts Open— held as part of the club's centennial celebration. The club has hosted over a dozen championships sponsored by the USGA and Mass Golf. The course plays to a par of 71 and its six sets of tees provide yardages — ranging from 4,730 to 6,903 yards — for all abilities.
